We are delighted to announce that we will be working with The Edinburgh International Book Festival in August, to recycle all coffee grounds created throughout the Festival. Through a collaboration between ourselves, Cauda and Chageworks Recycling, we will be able to service this globally-renowned 3 week festival, and ensure that all coffee waste created is diverted from landfill and recycled to create our 100% soil conditioner.
The Edinburgh International Book Festival began in 1983 and is now a key event in the August Festival season, celebrated annually in Scotland’s capital city. Throughout its history, the Book Festival has grown rapidly in size and scope to become the largest and most dynamic festival of its kind in the world. In its first year the Book Festival played host to just 30 ‘Meet the Author’ events. Today, the Festival programmes over 900 events, with over 1,000 authors, which are enjoyed by people of all ages.
We look forward to working closely with the Book Festival and are delighted to play a part in Book Festival teams success in organising a coffee neutral festival.
