All over the world, there are businesses and organisations with sustainability at their heart, considering the planet in all the decisions they make. Revive Recommends, our new series, takes a closer look at businesses, organisations, products and ideas which we believe are making the world a better place.

First up is Reskinned: the platform powering the fashion re-use economy.

Reskinned is a technology and manufacturing service designed to help fashion brands achieve their sustainability goals. They do this by taking old, unwanted apparel, and giving it new life instead of letting it go to landfill. This service works by encouraging owners to trade in their old garments, increasing the lifespan of their clothing even if they don’t want it anymore.

They do this by taking old, unwanted apparel, and giving it new life instead of letting it go to landfill. Recently, Reskinned have partnered with Finisterre – a responsible and sustainable outdoor clothing company. Through their partnership, they have been able to offer Finisterre credit to owners of old and unwanted Finisterre clothing. This has benefits for both the company and its customers: the company increases its sustainability rating, while the customers can feel good knowing that they aren’t sending their old clothes straight to landfill.

But their partnership with Finisterre doesn’t stop there: Reskinned plan to continue to disrupt the fashion industry, with deals with some of the UK’s other most sustainable fashion brands in the pipeline.
