It’s been another busy week at Chez Revive. We are excited to be working with Young Enterprise Scotland. YES are currently creating a Circular Economy Programme for Glasgow schools. The pupils will be introduced to the principles of the Circular Economy and will then work on a 6-8 week programme back at school. This programme will involve the children and young people creating a product or service which adheres to the principles of CE. The programme will culminate in a challenge showcase event where teams will ‘pitch’ their creations to a panel of judges.
We had a short interview on camera talking about all things Circular that will be shown to the pupils alongside interviews with other local businesses to give them an idea of the types of circular businesses that are out there.
We always enjoy doing things like this and we hope that we might even inspire the next circular economy success story! And on that same line, we’re hoping to start a series of blogs discussing our thoughts and views on the circular economy, so stay tuned for those!
Scott and I also found time in between customers meetings and coffee processing to head down to the cultural festival at George Square for the European Championships.
It really is great to see our city so buzzing with the live music at George square, the food and culture at the Merchant City Festival and we’ve even been relatively lucky with the weather (apart from on Wednesday but we’re used to rain in Scotland).
